1. What challenges did you encounter while trying to get close, capture real moments, and capture action or emotion? How did you deal with these?
one of the challenges that i encountered was how people wanted to fake that they were doing something.which made it hard to capture a real moment. i didn't really have a problem getting close to the theater kids because most of them liked it..but it was hard to capture a normal expression from them because they wanted to over act just so it would look good..even though i kept telling them that i cant show anyone this now so it doesn't matter..but when they started faking it i just went to someone else.

2. What technical aspects of photography (focus, exposure, composition) did you find yourself thinking about the most, and how did you make sure you did these correctly?
i thought mostly about focus because at times they were on stage and i couldn't get on stage with them so i had to be sure that i had my camera in focus. in order to do this i just put my camera on automatic.

3. Describe how you attempted to use at least one of the advanced composition techniques when you shot.
when people were on stage i tried to angle myself in order to use the rule of thirds.
i also tried to make sure things were balanced.
